At what age should a first checkup take place?
Dental care begins at an early age! At Cabinet Dentaire de Satigny, we specialize in caring for the smiles of children from 3 years onward. If you notice that your kids' teeth are growing irregularly and if there are obvious misalignments, let us know, we will check out the situation.
Although orthodontic treatment can improve your smile at any age, there is an optimal time to begin treatment. An early evaluation can help some patients identify developmental problems and intercept a variety of issues that will be managed in a timely manner to ensure the best possible results.
This may avoid the need for tooth extractions or even surgery in adulthood. Often, this so called early treatment will make up the first phase and will have to be completed in adolescence.
Is orthodontic treatment only for children and teenagers?
